Memberships

The advancement and influence of ADPAF will be determined by the wisdom of our most senior members. Senior Professionals (those 50 years and older) possess a wealth of experience-based expertise. ADPAF provides opportunities for you to continue engaging with and sharing your expertise with future generations of industry professionals.

We seek to increase young professional engagement in order to produce the next generation of drilling operations leaders in the oil and gas drilling industry.

Associate membership is open to anyone who is not eligible for any other class of membership and has graduated from an educational institution of appropriate academic standing with significant studies connected to, or typically associated with, drilling and non drilling related services (Possibly working as content creator, lawyer or clerk, IT expert, Health officer, nurses, software engineers etc at a drilling company). The Executive Committee may waive degree requirements for this category of membership at its discretion, subject to the Association's Constitution's essential provisions.

ADPAF student membership exists to provide sustained contact with drilling industry professionals and organizations while enrolled in school. You would receive complimentary admission to all ADPAF-sponsored conferences and events. Any student interested in learning more about what it takes to be a drilling engineer, drilling personnel or working in a similar profession is welcome to attend any of the programs listed below. Each of our connected universities, colleges or tertiary institutions meets on a regular basis to discuss emerging technical ideas, goals, and networking opportunities.

ADPAF graduate membership is open to all who has graduated from any higher institution and willing to be mentored and trained to become a drilling expert. Any Graduate interested in learning more about being a drilling engineer or working in any related field is welcome to attend any of the aforementioned events. Each of our affiliated universities meet occasionally to discuss emerging technical ideas, goals and network.

ADPAF overseas diaspora membership is open to any individual based internationally outside the African continent with a vested interest in the drilling industry in Africa. We welcome individuals to register and keep updated with the African drilling market and community.
